After a weekend of weighing, deliberating, and debating, the TILT team has finally picked the winners of the TILT Indie-in-an-Indie contest:

Mark Thimijan ‘s BARSTOOL COWBOY

All of the finalists were top notch, but these two movies meet the specific needs of the movie viewing scenes within TILT very well.

And…SURPRISE! Our runners up (Lucas McNelly’s Blanc de Blanc and Gary King’s New York Lately) will be featured in one of the four short films we’ll be putting out prior to the release of TILT.  Each short focuses on a different TILT side character, and they’ll be essential viewing for anyone who wants to get the inside scoop on TILT.

Thanks  to everyone who voted and made this contest a success. Thanks also to the other brave and talented souls who submitted their projects:

Now what? Less than ONE MONTH to principal shooting for TILT!  What’s on our To-Do List? Wouldn’t you like to know…

  1. I’m very excited! I’m glad everyone enjoyed the trailer! Looking forward to seeing it in your film! Our World Premiere is Sept 4th! Congrats on your film!! 🙂

We’re big fans of yours (and Gary King’s, of course.) Excited to have this interaction between our indie movie collaboration and yours. The TILT team salutes DEATH OF THE DEAD & HOW DO YOU WRITE A JOE SCHERMANN SONG!
